Halloween Safety

Each year since 2010, State Farm Insurance has awarded St. Charles County Ambulance District a “Safe Neighbors” grant to offer a Halloween Safety program for the residents of our community.  In total, the company has contributed $25,000 toward this initiative!

The primary focus of the program is to make children more visible to drivers while trick-or-treating, reducing the risk of their bring struck by a vehicle while collecting candy.  Parents, grandparents and other guardians may pick up free glow in-the-dark bracelets and reflective candy bags while supplies last from the District’s headquarters facility.
